Supplying casting rings involves much more than machining graphite.  Saturn has researched DC Casting and developed technical support from one of the co-inventors of the AirSlip^® Air Casting Process. 

Saturn has acquired enhanced manufacturing equipment, developed and built special production tooling, and performed product testing.

Fluid Flow

Saturn has a full understanding of graphite materials and is familiar with casting lubricants and the interrelationship with graphite permeability.

Dimensional Accuracy

High precision manufacturing is a hallmark of parent company, Gerken.  Each Saturn AccuRing is inspected for proper dimensions and flow performance.

Ring Testing

Saturn places great emphasis on quality.  Each AccuRing AS is fully tested for flow uniformity - a first by a casting ring manufacturer.  ISO 9001 certified
